WHO AM I ??? WHAT IS THIS ???
My name is Margaret - or Mar. I am 19 years old, born on Janurary 7th. I use she/her and he/him pronouns, I'm OK with they/them as well, but they aren't preferred. I usually say I use she/her or she/they in real life, though. For the ease of others. :-P
I am currently in community college, I study geography with the hope of becoming a national park ranger in the PNW - or maybe the east coast. I live in a suburban-rural area of Illinois, closer to St. Louis than Chicago. I hope to move near one of the cities when I tranfer to a 4 year college.
I started this site to use as a journal. I'm not good at keeping a physical one, so I thought maybe this would be a good subsitute. I also have been wanting to learn HTML, so I'm using this for that too. I think I will keep an archive of my artwork and CD collection here as well. I'm trying to build up a CD collection, even though I don't have a CD player :-P. I like physical media like CDs and DVDs because I can have them forever. They are really, truly mine. I like to hold things I own.
I hope I keep up this website. I haven't decided yet if I actually want people to see it or not. I think I won't mind if they do but I won't mind if they don't, either. Eventually I want to have a website that is coded entirely by me. Right now I have a stand in template that I want to get rid of soon. Hopefully I figure out how to do it myself :-).
